Responsibly Sauced grew out of the Buxton Blues outfit Blue John.
Eric Culbert provides drums, Stuart Bootle is on keyboards (you can just make out his fingers on the right of the picture!), Adrian Sherwood is the bassist whilst I handle guitar and most of the lead vocals.

'60s garage and psychedelia
This band was created for Buxton Fringe 2025 but has turned out to have a life beyond that!
Our show is currently (largely) based around covers of tracks from NUGGETS - the 1972 album of American singles from the mid-sixties.
Since all those bands were inspired by the British Invasion, which occurred from 1964 onwards, we include a smattering of songs from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds, et al. Numbers which have a suitably psychedelic vibe.
Adrian Sherwood is on bass, Matthew Holder drums whilst I play guitar and sing lead vocals. For a handful of numbers we are lucky to have the great backing vocals of Emma O'Brien.
